Physical Description: 173 years ago, a group of 41 Bajoran explorerers landed on the unpopulated continent on the Trill home world. When they were discovered, they were welcomed and settled in as part of Trill society. As a result of this, every now and again, a Trill is born with a Bajoran nose ridge (It is a recessive trait; but if the parents both carry the gene, it may happen.) Curiously, both of Odan's hosts held this trait. Norallah is also such an individual. She also carries the gene for the melonon splotches that Trill usually have around their hairline and neck.

Background: Norallah Tam was born on the Trill homeworld 26 years ago. Eight years ago she went to Earth to enter Starfleet Acadamy. There she specialised in Engineering. During this time, she became a candidate to receive a symbiant named Nek, but ultimately was not chosen. She served on the U.S.S. Valiant-C during the Dominion War shortly after graduation. She is just completing a tour on the U.S.S. Shallot. She has two siblings: a brother, Nihpuad, and a sister, Rettuh. She is looking forward to her new assignment as Operations Officer on the U.S.S. Cochrane.
