Physical Description: Jayngo is a member of the Atlarian race, and as such is far superior to the average mortal man. He is able to bench press more than 6400 pounds, jump up to 60 feet straight up, and has lightning-fast reflexes. Though he has the build is of a professional weightlifter, he moves gracefully, swiftly and, at times, with a denounced bounce to his step. Despite his build, Jayngo has the face and demeanor of a boy - or some would say an angel. His looks are imposing to the men, and enchanting to the women.

Background: The Federation planet Atlarus IV has a gravitational pull six times that of Earth. As such, Atlarians are genetically built to withstand pressures far greater than that of normal humans, and when they are put into a normal gravitational situation, they tend to exhibit much greater strength, speed and agility.

Jayngo graduated at the top of his class and first applied for Starfleet Acadamy before the start of the Dominion War, but the fighting had started by the time he actually entered. Due to his size and strength, he was instantly shoehorned into the security branch, despite his desire to go into the medical field. Due to the high demand for officers, Starfleet Academy discontinued its four year course schedule for a shorter "basic training". As such, a year later, Jayngo found himself as a security ensign aboard the U.S.S. Desperado - a Defiant-class space ship. He found himself stuck in a division that he didn't like upon a ship that was too cramped with the assignment to cause harm while his heart cried to heal.

While aboard the Desperado, Jayngo met the elderly Chief Medical Officer: Commander Richard Campbell was set to celebrate his 98th birthday when he was called back to active duty because of the war, and found his location just as disdainful as Jayngo. The two men quickly hit it off, and as Jayngo became increasingly fed up with his assignment, the doctor became more and more sympathetic. Offering to teach Jayngo what he could, Doctor Campbell managed to get the young ensign assigned to a second duty in the sickbay.

For the next two years, Jayngo served double duties; facing off against Jem'Hedar by day and mending crewmates by night. Finally, the Desperado was launched during the all-out assault on Cardassia Prime, lending its strength to ending the war. During the combat, the Chief of Security was fatally injured, and ended up dying in Jayngo's arms as he rushed to sickbay. Once the war was over, Jayngo was offered a promotion and the slot of CSO, but declined. Instead, he returned to Starfleet Academy with the request to re-enter and enter their medical program.

Now, four years later, Jayngo has graduated valedictorian for the medical divison. As a surprise graduation present, Doctor Campbell called in a few favors to get his pupil a choice assignment. Jayngo now serves as the Chief Medical Officer aboard the U.S.S. Cochrane.

Personality: Add to his physical attrobutes the fact that he graduated first in his class, and he is a modern equivalent to a superhuman man. Despite this, he maintains an air of dignity and modesty about him; striving not to show up the others around him but to push them towards their own greatness. He tends to prefer using his brain over his brawn and think his way out of a troublesome situation. After his time as a security officer, he has chosen to take the pacifist route whenever possible. He has dedicated himself to the fact that, having seen enough death and pain during the Dominion War, no one will die under his care.
