ABOUT ERAS
Eras is a multi-generational audio series, spanning through the entire history of Star Trek. Told from the perspective of Admiral Evori, an El-Aurian who has been a part of Starfleet since the beginning, each story can range from his "present" place in time following the conflict with the Romulans (as depicted in Star Trek: Nemesis) to his experiences with humans during their explorations using Warp-5 engines (the time period established in the Star Trek: Enterprise series).
This Star Trek continues Gene Roddenberry's utopian vision of the future. While the crews may face threats from outside forces, and a few rogue officers may prove to be corrupt, the overall society is peaceful and strives for harmony. With the Dominion War finished and peace talks finally starting with the Romulan Star Empire, the Federation eagerly embraces its original purpose of seeking out new life and new civilizations through space exploration.
As with any endeavor, difficulties will arise, and Admiral Evori knows that the answers to present problems are often found in the past. He uses his first-hand knowledge of Starfleet's history to teach and lead through tales of adventures past.
